Welcome to Second Baptist Church

At Second Baptist Church, we're focused on two main objectives--Connecting to God and Connecting to People. We believe we were created for these relationships and faith in Jesus Christ is the key to making them the very best they can be. In keeping with this relational focus, we strive to share the good news and live out the message of God's love in every area of our lives. As a church, we accomplish this, in part, by actively serving our local community.

So, how would we describe
ourselves?

Friendly, welcoming, non-judgmental, multi-ethnic, caring, encouraging, generous, multi-generational, fun, open to new ideas in ministry, both traditional and contemporary, Bible-teaching.

    Whether you want to connect with God for the first time or need to reconnect with Him, we invite to join us and make some new friends.   Don't worry about how to dress or what to say--just relax and be yourself--as we worship God through music, prayer and messages from the timeless truth of His love-letter to humanity, the Bible.
